Wisport Raccoon 9L Side Pocket — Coyote

The Raccoon 9L Side Pocket is a modular side pouch with 9 litres of capacity, designed to expand the storage of a backpack or to be attached independently to any MOLLE/PALS system, plate carrier, or tactical vest. Its dimensions — 35 cm tall, 18 cm wide, 14 cm deep — make it suitable for bulky gear that does not fit in the main compartment.

The closure system combines a plastic buckle with an internal drawcord. The buckle allows quick access even with gloves on, while the drawcord keeps contents in place during movement. Compared to a snap lock or a zip, this solution is faster to operate under stress but offers less retention than a rigid closure: anyone carrying heavy or irregularly shaped items should factor this into their decision.

Universal MOLLE compatibility allows it to be mounted as an add-on pouch on Wisport backpacks from the Raccoon, Wildcat, Sparrow and Silver Fox lines, as well as on any other pack or system with a standard-pitch MOLLE/PALS panel. This also makes it useful as a stand-alone pouch on a carrier, separate from the main pack.
