Wisport Caracal 22 l Backpack — Multicam

The Caracal is a Wisport tactical backpack with a 22-litre capacity, designed for day use: range sessions on hilly terrain, hiking, and light professional carry. At 48x30x18 cm and an empty weight of 1000 g, it delivers usable volume without adding unnecessary bulk to a basic loadout.

The AirBack suspension system creates an air channel between the back and the pack, reducing heat build-up during sustained movement. The shoulder straps are adjustable and fitted with hydration tube routing, while the integrated chest strap and hipbelt — which includes a PALS panel — transfer load onto the hips and allow additional pouches to be attached directly to the belt. The combination of a padded hipbelt and ventilated back works well during active movement, though anyone carrying loads above 10 kg for several hours will find the suspension less rigid than a technical trekking pack with an internal frame: the Caracal prioritises compactness and tactical configurability over that level of load management.

The fabric is Cordura 500D, resistant to abrasion and tearing under typical off-road and range conditions. Zips are Wisport-branded; buckles are ITW Nexus and Duraflex. The PALS panel on the front and sides accepts standard MOLLE pouches, and the base of the pack conceals an integrated rain cover accessible without opening the main compartment. The false bottom that houses it does not reduce the stated volume, but it is a fixed obstruction to factor into internal organisation. The ID panel on the back allows quick owner identification or document insertion.
