The X300V Vampire is a tactical torch that mounts directly on a 20 mm Picatinny rail, designed for pistols and rifles used in low-light environments. With an output of 220 lumens, a weight of 80 g and an overall length of 111 mm, it installs without tools and does not noticeably affect the balance of the weapon.

The 220-lumen LED covers the typical engagement distances of a pistol or short rifle, with a beam tight enough to identify a target without flooding the surrounding area. The strobe mode — selectable without removing your hand from the grip — produces a disorienting effect on a subject or observer; it is an effective function, but one that requires careful judgement about when to use it, as it also disrupts clear vision for the operator.

Power comes from 2 CR123A batteries or alternatively 16340 cells, the most common choice in tactical torches: CR123A batteries maintain stable voltage across a wide temperature range and are easy to source, while rechargeable 16340s reduce running costs over time. Batteries are not included.
