The WST Mini Steel Mesh is a steel mesh half mask designed for people with smaller faces: children, women, and adults with a narrow facial structure. Its compact dimensions — 20 cm wide and 13 cm tall — make it roughly 1 cm shorter and 5 cm narrower than a standard mask of the same type, providing a stable fit without encroaching on the cheeks when shouldering a weapon.

The mesh covers only the nose and mouth area, leaving the cheeks clear for contact with the stock. The side pads, covered in 1000D nylon and generously padded, absorb direct impacts to the cheekbone and resist abrasion without tearing. One trade-off worth knowing: the steel mesh construction offers significantly better airflow than solid plastic and does not fog up, but it is not a sealed barrier — anyone operating in environments with fine dust or irritant gases should consider alternative solutions.

The mask is declared compliant with ANSI Z80.3 certification, meaning it is rated to resist penetration at energies up to 3 J at 5 metres, corresponding to approximately 170 m/s with 0.20 g BBs. The low weight of 100 g and the adjustable elastic strap allow it to be worn alone or over a cap; helmet attachment adapters are not included and must be purchased separately.
