The KINGRIN is a cross-harness chest rig designed for AK magazine carry in a lightweight configuration, without a plate carrier. Weighing 770 g empty and built from 600D nylon, it sits between a simple bandolier and a full tactical vest: it provides functional load carriage without adding bulk to the silhouette or restricting upper-body movement.

The 4 front magazine pouches for AK mags are the core of the system. Retention is handled by elastic and hook-and-loop closures, a solution that allows fast extraction and re-insertion even with gloves, but holds less securely than a snap or roller buckle panel: anyone operating in dense vegetation or expecting rough movement should factor in this trade-off. The 2 side pouches with press-stud and velcro closure are suited for immediate-use kit — light, tourniquet, comms kit — but are not sized for bulky items. The upper snap-closure pocket handles documents, maps or a slim tablet.

The X-harness suspension distributes the load across both shoulders and transfers weight to the hips via the adjustable lumbar strap, reducing fatigue during extended use. Internal padding on the shoulder straps increases comfort against a combat shirt or a light thermal layer. The front and side MOLLE panels allow modular pouches to be added, letting users tailor the configuration to the task at hand.
