The VX Buckle Up Ready Rig is a modular chest rig from Viper Tactical designed for operators and shooters who need to carry magazines and accessories while keeping the option to reconfigure their setup quickly. The front panel measures 33 cm x 17 cm x 7 cm excluding straps — a compact footprint that mounts to any Viper Buckle Up-compatible platform via a rear hook-and-loop panel and side quick-release clips.

The construction is deliberately lean: 700D Polytech fabric keeps the unloaded weight low and keeps the rig functional even in a light loadout, without compromising wear resistance. The rear hook-and-loop compartment accepts VX-series magazine sleeves, so anyone already running these pouches does not have to start from scratch. The two front elastic pockets handle pistol magazines or small tools using internal and external elastic retention: reloading is fast and quiet, but retention is lower than a positive mechanical retention device — something worth bearing in mind in situations where the rig may take impacts or be inverted.

The two zippered utility pockets and a Clearview mini-map sleeve round out the fixed configuration. Hook-and-loop panels on the front and rear strap allow patch placement or additional MOLLE surface attachment. Shoulder and waist straps are removable and adjustable, and compatibility with the VX system lets you attach accessories such as the Viper VX Dangler or the Scrote directly to the lower panel.
