The main compartment measures 22x13x7 cm and can carry loose items or accept, via internal velcro, a swappable mag pouch in versions for pistol, SMG, 5.56 rifle or 7.62 rifle; alternatively, an internal holster can be fitted. A second utility compartment with a full-length closure sits on the lower front panel and provides quick access for secondary gear.

The defining advantage of this rig is its integration with the VX Buckle Up system: quick-release buckles on the back allow the chest rig to be attached to or detached from a plate carrier in seconds, without loosening shoulder straps or removing the carrier. This makes it straightforward to switch between a light standalone setup — rig with its own harness — and a combined configuration with a plate carrier, depending on what the mission requires.
