Wosport Tiger Type Long MP5 Magazine Pouch — Grey

The Wosport Tiger Type Long is an open-top magazine pouch designed to hold MP5, MP7 and similarly sized submachine gun magazines, with an elongated vertical profile that matches the characteristic length of these magazines. It mounts on MOLLE/PALS platforms or directly on a belt, making it compatible with duty belts, chest rigs and plate carriers alike.

The construction uses semi-rigid material with adjustable tension, allowing retention to be tuned to the specific magazine in use and compensating for minor diameter differences between manufacturers. The open top allows fast extraction and equally fast reloading without operating any retention devices — a real advantage during sustained firing sequences. The trade-off is the one typical of this design: speed of access comes at the cost of active retention, meaning the pouch holds the magazine primarily through friction and elastic tension — sufficient for normal ground-based activity, but less suited to high physical stress or inverted positions. The plastic clip on the front face adds an optional layer of security when the situation calls for it.

The double-column MOLLE attachment keeps the pouch stable on the panel with no lateral play, while belt compatibility lets it work on lightweight configurations without a vest. The grey colour suits urban-grey uniforms and grey-green camouflage set-ups.

Key points

• Open top with adjustable tension: immediate extraction without operating any retention devices, tunable to the magazine in use
• Compatible with MP5, MP7 and similarly dimensioned magazines by length and diameter
• Dual MOLLE/PALS or belt attachment: integrates on a chest rig, plate carrier or belt without additional adapters
• Front plastic clip: optional supplementary retention when friction alone is not enough
• Semi-rigid construction that holds its shape even when empty, making one-handed reloads easier
