Wosport Tornado Holster — TAN

The Tornado is a drop-leg holster in 600D Oxford fabric, designed for pistols ranging from compact to full-size frames. It mounts on the right thigh to keep the belt clear and allow a direct, unobstructed draw. The modular design lets you reconfigure the main compartment to fit different frames without replacing the holster entirely.

600D Oxford fabric offers better abrasion resistance than lightweight nylons while staying noticeably lighter than rigid polymer options. Reinforced stitching distributes load across the stress points — on a drop-leg holster these are worked every time the operator crouches or moves over uneven ground. The hook-and-loop retention on the pistol compartment prioritises re-holstering speed — seating the weapon is immediate — but demands more attention than a snap-lock retention system in environments where vegetation or debris can gradually degrade hook-and-loop adhesion.

The right-thigh mounting system connects the holster to the belt via a drop-leg platform, bringing the pistol compartment closer to the hand and reducing the movement needed to draw compared to an IWB or high-ride belt holster. This geometry is an advantage when wearing body armour or a plate carrier that raises the waistline, but it requires correct adjustment of the thigh straps to prevent lateral rotation during movement.
