High-fluorocarbon waterproofing spray formulated to restore water repellency on technical clothing, rucksacks, bags, gloves, hats and tents. At 300 ml, a single bottle is enough to cover full routine maintenance sessions for your outdoor kit.
The high FC active ingredient works into the fibres to restore their original water contact angle: liquid beads up and runs off rather than soaking through the fabric. This preserves the internal microclimate of the garment – which wet fabric quickly compromises – during outings in variable weather conditions. The formulation is stated to be compatible with breathable membranes: unlike some paste or immersion products, the spray does not block membrane pores when applied correctly.
The treatment suits multiple substrates – single technical fabrics, mixed-material constructions, insulated garments and accessories – though the manufacturer advises against use on large rubberised surfaces. A practical note: seams and joints deserve particular attention, as they are the most structurally stressed points and the first to lose repellency after washing or prolonged use. Re-treatment after every wash is necessary: the water-repellent effect is not permanent and diminishes with each cleaning cycle.
