The SFU Next Mk2 are tactical trousers in stretch polycotton ripstop — 48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane — designed for those who need freedom of movement without sacrificing abrasion resistance. The cut has been redesigned compared to the previous version: straighter and more structured, suited to both field use and everyday operational contexts.

The elastane content is what sets these apart from conventional ripstop: the fabric moves with the body rather than against it, which means less friction at the knees when crouching and less pull at the hips when climbing over surfaces. The inner lining in 90% polyester and 10% cotton reduces direct chafing during prolonged activity.

The pocket layout is designed not to interfere with kit carried at the waist: the large side cargo pockets, closed with hook-and-loop, offer real carrying capacity without sagging when empty; the two front bellows pockets are sized to fit most current smartphones. The knee reinforcements are shaped to accept optional protective inserts — a detail that improves protection without adding fixed bulk. The waist adjusts laterally via hook-and-loop tabs, allowing a precise fit without any modification to the belt. Worth noting: the button fly is quieter and more durable than an exposed zip, but takes a few seconds longer than a quick-release system.
