SATAC Tactical Chest Rig — Tan

The SATAC Tactical is a lightweight chest rig designed for those who need a no-frills load-bearing platform, ready to use without the bulk of a plate carrier. Weighing just 425 g empty and featuring an adjustable fit, it accommodates a range of body types and can be worn directly over any operational clothing without requiring a dedicated base layer.

MOLLE compatibility is partial: the attachment surfaces are found on the shoulder straps, not on the front panel. This means accessory pouches can be added along the straps, but the expansion options on the face are more limited than on a chest rig with full MOLLE coverage. Anyone who needs a high degree of modularity should bear this in mind; those who prefer a compact, fixed configuration will find the front panel already well-defined, without any temptation to overload the system.

There is no provision for a ballistic insert or a quick-release mechanism. This is a deliberate choice that reflects the product's purpose: maximum lightness and immediate usability, at the expense of passive protection and rapid emergency release. The CORUND™ 500D material offers greater abrasion resistance than standard nylon while keeping overall weight low.

Key features

• Empty weight of 425 g: barely noticeable even after extended hours of use.
• Adjustable fit: shoulder straps adapt to different body types without any additional kit.
• MOLLE on the shoulder straps: allows accessory pouches to be mounted along the straps, keeping the front panel clean and compact.
• CORUND™ 500D material: high abrasion resistance in a fabric that stays light.
• No ballistic insert, no quick release: a stated choice in favour of lightness — assess according to your intended use.
