Fenix AFH-02 Headlamp Strap Set — Black

The AFH-02 set is a replacement and upgrade strap system for compatible Fenix headlamps. Made from elastic, perforated material, it includes the main head strap (25 mm wide, maximum length 64 cm) and the top strap (maximum length 32 cm), joined together as a single adjustable piece that fits a range of head circumferences.

The complete absence of reflective elements is what sets this strap set apart from standard alternatives. In low-light conditions or when keeping a low visual signature matters — night activities in natural environments, operations where remaining undetected is relevant — the matte, non-retroreflective surface will not return light from a vehicle's headlights or any other source. Anyone using headlamps in contexts where signalling their position is undesirable will find this a practical feature, not a marketing one.

The elastic, perforated construction reduces weight on the head and promotes airflow during extended use, but the trade-off is worth understanding: an elastic strap adjusts quickly and accommodates layered headwear, yet over time it may lose some of its original tension compared to a rigid buckle system.
