The Nite Ize S-Biner Plastic is a dual-gate carabiner made from fibreglass-reinforced nylon, designed for quickly attaching gear to packs, belts, holsters, harnesses and any MOLLE system. Size #2 measures 51.7x24.5x6.2 mm and weighs 3 g, making it one of the lightest clips available while still offering a reliable locking action.

The double-S shape allows two distinct modes of use: route a single item through both gates for increased retention, or connect two separate items by using each gate independently. This doubles the possible configurations compared to a conventional carabiner. The locking bar is stainless steel, maintaining positive engagement even with repeated use against abrasive gear.

Fibreglass-reinforced nylon is lighter than metal and does not corrode, but carries a manufacturer-stated maximum load of 4.5 kg: adequate for keys, pouches, torches and light accessories, not suitable for structural loads or applications where accidental release could cause injury.
