The Rothco MOLLE Vest Laser-Cut is a plate carrier in sizes 2XL/3XL designed for those who need a robust plate platform for larger builds. It accepts SAPI, ESAPI and Swimmer Cut plates up to 26x34 cm in the front and rear plate pockets, plus side plates up to 15x18 cm in the removable cummerbund.

The construction uses 600D polyester with laser-cut MOLLE rows: the absence of stitching on the PALS channels reduces potential wear points and allows pouches to be attached in any position without the rows shifting under load. The front and back panels each feature 14 rows of MOLLE, with the sides offering 5 rows per side. The internal air-mesh lining creates an airflow channel between the carrier body and the wearer's back, reducing heat build-up during extended use.

The padded quick-release shoulder straps are the main compromise of this system: the quick-release mechanism speeds up removal of the carrier when needed, but requires the straps to be carefully adjusted before use, as an imprecise fit can allow movement under load. The cummerbund is removable: without it, the carrier loses lateral retention and the ability to mount side pouches, but becomes noticeably lighter for reduced configurations. The integrated admin pouch completes the setup without requiring additional accessories for documents or frequently used items.
