Nimrod's Professional Performance Red Gas is a propellant in a 500 ml can designed for gas-powered airsoft replicas — pistols and rifles — used primarily in mild to warm ambient conditions. With an operating pressure of 1.2 MPa (12 bar) at 20 °C, it sits above standard green gas, delivering more forceful cycling and more energetic operation.

The higher pressure compared to entry-level gases translates into more consistent cycling as ambient temperature rises — conditions where lower-energy gases tend to lose pressure and performance. That same characteristic, however, requires careful consideration: the manufacturer explicitly states that this gas is not suitable for very cold winter temperatures or for Japanese-made replicas, which use hop-up units, valves and internal components rated for lower pressures. Using it on incompatible replicas can damage the fill valve or the hop-up bucking. Choosing the right gas matters as much as choosing the right replica.
