The wraparound profile gives broad coverage of the orbital area and adapts to different facial shapes thanks to the adjustable elastic strap.

CE EN 166 certification is the most relevant specification for field use: it confirms that the lenses have passed impact resistance testing under the European standard for professional eye protection. The anti-fog coating works on the inner surface, where condensation forms during intense activity; without it, visibility drops at exactly the moment it matters most. The scratch-resistant coating protects the outer surface, which quickly degrades from contact with vegetation, gear, and being carried in a pocket, reducing optical clarity.

The smoked lens reduces glare in bright conditions — direct sunlight, reflective surfaces, open environments — while maintaining good contrast during the day. It is not suited to low-light conditions or indoor use, where a clear lens would be more appropriate. UV400 protection blocks ultraviolet radiation up to 400 nm, covering both UVA and UVB, which matters during extended outdoor sessions. The integrated optical insert allows prescription lenses to be fitted without giving up protection, avoiding the use of stacked eyewear and the peripheral vision loss that comes with it.
