The PnP (Pick and Pluck) configuration means the internal foam comes pre-cut into a grid of cubes: the required blocks are pulled out by hand, with no tools needed, creating a custom-fit cavity for the replica and any accessories you want to carry with it. The advantage over plain foam is clear — it adapts to any shape — but bear in mind that once the cubes are removed they cannot be put back: plan the layout before you start pulling.
