Miltec Inflatable Travel Pillow — Olive

The Miltec Inflatable Travel Pillow is designed for those who spend nights away from base – in a tent, a vehicle, or in transit. Inflated, it measures 38x22x8.5 cm, giving enough support for head or back rest, while packed down it compresses to 25x10x9.5 cm and weighs 243 g, fitting easily into any side pocket of a pack without eating into useful space.

The 100% polyester shell with PVC coating handles moisture and rough surfaces well – the kind you encounter in the field: the material doesn't absorb sweat and wipes clean with a damp cloth in seconds. The inflation valve lets you adjust firmness to personal preference – those sleeping on a cot may prefer a softer feel, while those using it as lumbar support in a vehicle will want it firmed up.

The trade-off worth knowing: an inflatable pillow is lighter and more packable than any fibre pillow, but it takes a few breaths and about ten seconds to set up before use. Anyone expecting the comfort of a bedroom pillow will be disappointed; anyone looking for a decent support on the move – one that folds back into a pocket in the morning – will find the weight-to-bulk ratio hard to beat.
