Wosport Lowered Belt Platform — TAN

The Wosport Lowered Belt Platform is a drop adapter that lowers and moves the holster away from the hip, designed for those wearing a tactical vest, plate carrier, or bulky clothing that would otherwise interfere with the draw. The slots accept belts up to 50 mm wide, the standard width for tactical and duty belts.

The practical advantage is geometric: the platform creates a vertical gap of approximately 50 mm between the top edge of the belt and the holster attachment point, moving the pistol clear of the area where vest edges, zippers, or cargo pockets overlap. The centre-to-centre distance between the upper holes is 31 mm, and between the upper and lower holes 66 mm — measurements that ensure compatibility with the vast majority of standard screw-mount holsters.

The nylon construction keeps weight low without sacrificing the rigidity needed to prevent the holster from shifting during movement. The trade-off is worth considering: dropping the holster improves draw clearance when wearing layered kit, but shifts the weapon's centre of gravity lower and outward, increasing the torque on the belt under hard physical exertion. Those carrying heavy loads should verify that their belt includes a paddle or rigid pistol support to compensate. The platform is compatible with the Quick Release System, so it can be attached and removed from the belt without tools.
