Leatherman Bit Kit 1 — Black

The Bit Kit 1 is Leatherman's set of interchangeable bits designed to extend the screwdriving capabilities of compatible multitools or a bit driver adapter. It includes 21 double-ended bits covering the most commonly needed hex, Torx and Phillips sizes, all stored in the bit holder included in the package.

The double-ended design is a deliberate trade-off: each bit provides two sizes on a single piece, reducing the number of parts to carry and the chance of losing one in the field. The downside is that switching sizes requires removing and reinserting the bit each time, unlike a single-ended set where selection is purely visual. For anyone using a multitool on the move, the gain in compactness is worth the slight slowdown.

The hex range runs from 1.5 mm to 6 mm plus 6.35 mm (1/4"), with additional intermediate inch-converted sizes: 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.2 mm, 3.6 mm, 4 mm, 4.8 mm. The included Torx bits are T6 and T8. This covers the vast majority of screws found on optics, mounts, slings and tactical gear, making it a natural complement for anyone already carrying a Leatherman multitool.
