The Bit Driver Extender is a screwdriver extension compatible with Leatherman multi-tools equipped with a large adapter or Bit Adapter. It adds 83 mm of reach, allowing you to work inside cavities, engine bays, panels and any area where the body of the multi-tool would otherwise get in the way.
The extension accepts both Leatherman double-ended bits and standard hex bits, so it does not lock you into a proprietary system: anyone who already has a selection of compatible bits can use them directly. The practical advantage is that a single Bit Driver Extender multiplies the available combinations without adding separate tools to your kit.
One trade-off to keep in mind: adding an extension increases the overall length of the tool and slightly reduces torque control compared to working directly with the built-in driver. For fastening in open, easy-access situations, working without the extension remains more precise; the Bit Driver Extender earns its place specifically where there is no other option. Compatible models: Charge+ TTi, MUT, Skeletool, Skeletool CX, Wave+, Surge, Bit Adapter with bit kit, Signal, Charge+, Super Tool 300M, Topo Signal 2H, Wave+, Curl.
