Helikon-Tex Rangeman Shooting Gloves

The Helikon-Tex Rangeman Shooting Gloves are lightweight, close-fitting shooting gloves designed specifically for range use with both handguns and long guns. At 70 g, they are barely noticeable during extended sessions without sacrificing protection or grip on the stock and pistol grip.

The fingers and palm are made from genuine kangaroo leather — a deliberate technical choice, not an aesthetic one. Kangaroo leather is thinner than cowhide at equivalent tensile strength, which translates into significantly better tactile sensitivity. Frequent shooters know how much it matters to feel the trigger, safety, and control surfaces precisely: an extra layer of material between finger and trigger changes how the break is perceived. The nylon and elastane back is breathable and moves with the hand without restriction — a worthwhile quality in warm conditions or during intense sessions when the hand tends to overheat.

The trade-off to keep in mind: kangaroo leather delivers sensitivity and low weight, but requires more care than synthetic materials and is not designed for wet conditions or heavily abrasive use. These are shooting gloves, not work gloves. The wrist closure with Velcro allows fit adjustment within a size, compensating for variation between hands or different base layers worn underneath.
