GFC Single Magazine Pouch — Tan

Single rifle magazine pouch by GFC, compatible with M4/M16 (STANAG), AK and G36 magazines. The MOLLE/PALS attachment system allows it to be mounted on any vest, belt or rucksack with standard webbing, making it suitable for field use or dynamic shooting.

Retention is handled by an elastic bungee cord with an open top: the magazine is accessible in a single movement, without opening any buckles or retention devices, which speeds up reloading. The trade-off is the one typical of this system — the open top allows fast extraction and reinsertion, but offers lower retention than a press-button retention device or a Velcro-covered flap. For use in dynamic positions or with acrobatic movements, it is worth assessing whether the retention level is sufficient for the intended application.

Compatibility with three of the most widespread rifle platforms — STANAG, AK and G36 — removes the need to purchase separate pouches for different calibre weapons, simplifying kit configuration.

Key Features

• The elastic bungee cord with open top allows the magazine to be drawn and replaced without opening any retention device, reducing reload times.
• The MOLLE/PALS attachment allows the pouch to be positioned on compatible vests, belts and rucksacks, adapting the configuration to the task.
• Compatibility with M4/M16 (STANAG), AK and G36 magazines reduces the need for dedicated pouches for different platforms.
• The open top ensures fast access but offers lower retention than an active-closure system: worth considering for use involving highly dynamic movement.
