GFC Recon Plate Carrier — Tan

The Recon is a lightweight, minimalist plate carrier from GFC, designed for those who need a straightforward ballistic platform without sacrificing adjustability. It accepts two ballistic plates in SAPI size M and can be worn directly over other kit, thanks to padded shoulder straps and a spacer mesh lining the inner surface of both front and rear panels.

The side-panel-free design is a deliberate choice: it cuts down unloaded weight and improves mobility, but leaves the flanks exposed compared to carriers with side coverage. For those who prioritise lightness and agility on extended outings, this is the right trade-off; anyone after broader perimeter protection should look at carriers with side extensions. The wide adjustment range lets you dial in the fit for different builds and adapt it to varying clothing layers underneath.

The MOLLE/PALS surface on both panels lets you attach magazine pouches, utility pouches, admin pouches and any other modular-compatible accessories, building the configuration the task demands without unnecessary fixed weight. A hook-and-loop panel is also included for attaching patches and insignia.
