FMA Type D Quick Hook Carabiner — Black

Nylon D-type quick-release carabiner designed to attach and detach gear, keys or accessories without removing your gloves. The big version has an internal opening of 8 cm, wide enough to accept zip ties, lanyards and larger-diameter rings.

The nylon construction keeps weight to a minimum and will not scratch contact surfaces, unlike aluminium or steel carabiners. One trade-off to keep in mind: the light weight and quick-release action make sense for connecting kit, bungees or organisers, but this is not a load-bearing component rated for significant weight — for that you need carabiners with a certified load rating.
