The FMA PEQ LA5 Upgrade Version V2 is a compact multi-function module combining a white LED torch, green laser pointer and IR light with dedicated lenses, designed for weapon-mounted use in night hunting, operational shooting and professional applications. At 155 g, it adds minimal weight to the weapon setup and preserves system balance even when additional accessories are already fitted.

Operating modes are selected via a three-position selector plus a combined channel: in mode O, a single press activates the torch and a double press locks it on continuously; in mode P, the same logic controls the green laser; the AL channel activates torch and laser simultaneously, useful when both area illumination and target designation are needed at once; the DL channel controls the IR light independently. The dedicated control panel reduces the risk of accidental mode changes under operational pressure, unlike single-button designs where each press cycles sequentially through profiles.

The IR section is what sets this version apart: dedicated IR lenses filter and direct infrared emission independently from the white torch, making it compatible with image intensifiers and night vision devices without interfering with the visible-light mode. The module accepts 2 CR123A batteries or rechargeable 16340 / RCR123A cells at 3 V or 3.7 V, providing logistical flexibility in the field without any modification to the battery compartment. The included remote pressure cable allows the control to be positioned at an ergonomic point on the grip or handguard, without having to release the firing grip to reach the module.
