The visible laser speeds up target acquisition in instinctive shooting without raising the weapon to the line of sight — a practical advantage in close-range dynamic shooting. The IR laser and IR illuminator come into play when paired with a night vision device: without an IR filter the beam is invisible to the naked eye, making it compatible with low-light sessions or controlled environments. Both lasers are adjustable for windage and elevation, so zeroing to point of impact is straightforward and requires no special tools. A third feature, the removable IR cap in front of the torch, converts it into an IR illuminator for use with night vision without switching modes — a practical solution, though it adds a manual step compared to a fully electronic system.

The reinforced nylon body balances durability with low weight and is easy to operate with gloves. The remote switch connector uses a 2.5 mm jack: before purchasing, check compatibility with any pressure switch already in use, as not all switches on the market share this standard. Power comes from two CR123A or 16340/RCR123A batteries at 3 V or 3.7 V rechargeable — not included.
