The FMA PEQ-15 LA-5 Upgrade Version is a reinforced-nylon replica of the laser/illuminator device used by special operations forces, designed for AEG, GBB and HPA airsoft replicas. It mounts on any standard RIS/Picatinny rail and integrates three light sources into a single housing: white torch, visible red laser, and IR laser with IR illuminator, for a combined weight of 140 g.

The visible red laser speeds up target acquisition in low-light conditions without raising the weapon to eye level, reducing reaction times in close-quarters shooting games. Both lasers — red and IR — are adjustable for windage and elevation, so they can be zeroed on the replica without dedicated tools. The IR illuminator and IR laser become operational when the device is paired with a night vision device: the included IR cover also converts the torch into an infrared illuminator, invisible to the naked eye. The pressure switch connection is a 2.5 mm jack, compatible with the most common pressure switches on the airsoft market.

The double-press mode — which activates the selected function without holding the button — is useful in long-duration scenarios, but requires care: accidentally leaving the laser active is a real eye hazard for anyone in the line of sight. The device is powered by two CR123A batteries or 16340/RCR123A 3 V or 3.7 V rechargeable cells (not included), a choice that provides extended runtime but means keeping a supply of batteries that are not always available in ordinary retail. Never point the laser at the eyes of people or animals, or at vehicles or the sky. This product is designed exclusively for airsoft use and is not compatible with firearms due to recoil.
