FMA AN/PEQ-15 Upgrade Weapon Light — Black

The FMA AN/PEQ-15 Upgrade Version is a multi-function module for long guns that combines a white light torch, green laser, and IR lenses in an AN/PEQ-15 form factor. It replicates the footprint and interface of the original device and runs on 2 CR123A batteries or 16340 / RCR123A rechargeable cells at 3 V or 3.7 V, with no modification to the battery compartment.

The IR lenses set it apart from a straightforward laser/light module: the infrared channel is independent from the white light and green laser channels, and each can be activated in momentary or constant-on mode via single or double press of the included pressure switch cable. This distinct-mode layout — light only, laser only, light plus laser simultaneously, IR only — lets you cycle through activations without breaking your grip, which is a practical advantage over single-function modules.

The green laser is worth thinking about: it is visible in low-light conditions without night vision devices, making it useful for rapid target designation, but in full daylight its effective range drops compared to IR paired with a night vision device. Users operating primarily in daylight will get the most out of the white light channel; those working in darkness with a night vision device will make better use of IR. The combination of both channels makes the unit suitable for mixed-lighting scenarios without swapping accessories.
