FMA ACH Occ-Dial Helmet Liner Kit for FAST / MICH — Tan

The FMA ACH Occ-Dial liner kit is a modular retention and padding system designed for FAST and MICH helmets, in both ballistic and non-ballistic versions. It replaces or supplements the stock interior, bringing the total system weight to 205 g, and accommodates different head circumferences via the rear adjustment dial.

The Occ-Dial system is what sets this kit apart from a basic padding replacement: the low-profile dial acts on the occipital band and lets you tighten or loosen the helmet one-handed, even with gloves on. This matters most when running night vision devices on the front rail, as the forward shift in centre of gravity demands a precise rear anchor to keep the helmet stable during movement.

The internal padding is made from expanded EPP bonded to a structural plastic shell: the trade-off of this approach is that EPP absorbs impacts effectively and stays lighter than denser EVA solutions, but retains less heat at rest — which works in your favour for breathability during extended activity. The pads are removable, washable and repositionable, so you can adapt the padding layout to your skull geometry or mission requirements without compromising impact protection.
