FMA 71L Flip-Up Sights — Black

The FMA 71L are a set of front and rear flip-up sights made from reinforced polymer with metal inserts, designed to mount on standard RIS rails. With a folded height of just 15 mm and a combined weight of 59 g, they sit almost invisible beneath a mounted optic and deploy in a single motion whenever a backup system is needed.

The reinforced polymer with metal components at the pivot points keeps the sights locked upright even after repeated cycles of raising and lowering. The trade-off compared to full-metal sights is lower weight — a real advantage on rifles already loaded with accessories — at the cost of slightly reduced resistance to hard mechanical impacts. For everyday use at the range, training, or hunting, the balance is a practical one.

The low-profile folded design allows use as backup iron sights alongside red dots, collimators, or LPVO optics: when the optic is in use the sights stay folded and do not obstruct the field of view; if the optic fails, they deploy in a second and provide an immediate emergency sight picture without any change of grip.
