ESS Crossbow Hi-Def Copper Replacement Lens — Red

Replacement lens for ESS Crossbow ballistic eyewear, available in the Hi-Def Copper tint, designed for shooters, professional operators and hunters working in variable light conditions. The quick-release system allows field replacement in seconds, with no tools required.

The high-strength polycarbonate meets ANSI Z87.1+, MIL-PRF-31013 and CE EN166(F) certifications — the most stringent military and civilian standards for ballistic eye protection. This means the lens absorbs the impact of projectiles and fragmentation that would destroy a non-certified sports lens, while remaining thinner and lighter than mineral glass. US OSHA compliance also makes it suitable for regulated work environments.

The Hi-Def Copper tint improves contrast perception in flat, overcast or woodland light: by filtering blue wavelengths, it renders the outline of game and obstacles sharper than a clear lens. It is not suited to full, intense sunlight, where a darker tint provides more visual comfort. ClearZone FlowCoat technology applies an anti-fog treatment to the inner surface and an anti-scratch coating to the outer surface — the two functions are intentionally kept separate, because an anti-scratch inner surface would reduce the effectiveness of the anti-fog layer. The lens blocks 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. The removable nose bridge included in the box allows fit adjustment without replacing the frame.
