ESP Hurricane Pepper Spray 15 ml — Black

The ESP Hurricane pepper spray is a pocket-sized irritant agent in a 15 ml format, designed for personal self-defence and the training of professional operators. At 87 mm tall and 22 mm in body diameter, it fits any spray holster or utility pocket without bulk. The modest weight of 32 g has no impact on your carry setup.

The active ingredient is 10% Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), which acts chemically by irritating the ocular mucous membranes and respiratory tract. A direct hit to the face causes immediate eye burning, coughing and disorientation for approximately 30 minutes — a window sufficient to create distance from an attacker or bring the situation under control. Unlike CS or CN agents, OC is effective even on subjects with a reduced sensitivity to pain.

The concentrated stream limits lateral dispersal compared to a fog: it increases accuracy on target and reduces the risk of involuntary exposure to the user, especially indoors or in a headwind. The effective range is approximately 3 m, consistent with typical close-contact distances. The operating temperature range runs from −20 °C to +50 °C, covering the working conditions of those who operate outdoors year-round. The trade-off to bear in mind is this: the concentrated stream demands more precise target acquisition than a cone spray, which is a disadvantage for anyone without specific training in its use.
