Helikon-Tex Double Pistol Magazine Insert — Black

The Double Pistol Magazine Insert is a two-compartment insert for full-size pistol magazines, designed for the Helikon-Tex Versatile Insert System and compatible with the hook-and-loop panels found in bags from the same line, including the Rangemaster Bag. This is a removable insert, not an external pouch: it drops into an existing compartment to divide and organise it.

Attachment is via hook-and-loop: VIS compatibility means the insert can be moved from one bag to another in seconds, without tools. To make removal straightforward even when the compartment is full, one corner of the insert is finished with a fabric loop that acts as a pull tab — hook a finger and the insert comes away from the panel cleanly. This is faster than a rigid retainer, but retention depends entirely on the available hook-and-loop surface, which is worth bearing in mind if the receiving panel is worn or partially covered by other inserts.

The polyester construction keeps weight low and offers reasonable abrasion resistance in the context of a range bag or carry pack. It is not designed to be worn on the body or used on MOLLE/PALS: its purpose is the internal organisation of a textile container.
