The Competition Modular Belt Sleeve is the outer platform of the Helikon-Tex Competition Set system: a padded sleeve designed to hold shooting belts up to 45 mm wide, including the Competition Nautic Shooting Belt from the same line, turning it into a complete modular tactical belt. It is aimed at dynamic shooting practitioners who need a comfortable, modular and reconfigurable solution for competition or training.
The internal EVA foam padding absorbs pressure from the rigid inner belt and the edges of mounted pouches, making extended wear manageable even with a full loadout. The inner mesh lining promotes airflow directly against clothing. The contoured profile follows the shape of the hip — a detail that makes a noticeable difference over long shooting sessions compared to a flat sleeve.
The outer surface in Cordura features laser-cut platforms compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, divided into vertical sections that allow the inner belt to pass through for direct attachment of holsters or pouches with belt-loop mounts. On the sides, two horizontal slots at the lower edge allow mounting of hip holsters or drop-leg panels. Four low-profile paracord loops serve as attachment points for suspenders. The trade-off to keep in mind: the modular structure offers a great deal of configuration flexibility, but the sleeve adds bulk and empty weight compared to a bare belt — it is the right choice for those who want a stable, padded platform, not for those looking for minimal bulk.
Key features
- Compatible with any shooting belt up to 45 mm wide, not only with the Competition line.
- EVA padding eliminates the discomfort of pouch edges during intense or prolonged shooting sessions.
- The vertical slots between the MOLLE panels allow the inner belt to emerge for attaching direct-mount holsters without adapters.
- The lower side slots enable mounting of hip holsters or drop-leg panels without additional hardware.
- The four paracord loops allow integration of support suspenders to distribute weight across heavier configurations.
- Available in four sizes from 83.5 cm (S) to 106.5 cm (XL) to suit different builds.
