The Helikon-Tex Competition Dump Pouch is a spent-magazine pouch designed specifically for dynamic shooting competitions, with enough capacity to hold multiple rifle or pistol magazines at once. Attachment is via MOLLE/PALS or directly onto a belt up to 45 mm wide, with no additional adapters required.

The drawcord-stiffened collar is what sets this dump pouch apart from general-purpose alternatives: under competition stress, with the clock running, trying to drop a magazine into a limp, shapeless pouch becomes a real problem. The structured rim keeps the opening wide and accessible, so an empty magazine drops in on the first attempt without breaking the transition. Retention relies entirely on the depth of the pouch and the weight of its contents — no retaining strap, no elastic, no velcro. This makes reloading immediate and silent, but it also means that on steep terrain or after a fall the contents may spill out — an acceptable trade-off in competition, less suited to tactical use where retaining your kit is a priority.

The mesh base prevents sand, dirt and debris from accumulating at the bottom, which is a common issue with closed pouches after a session on an unpaved range. Structural durability comes from Cordura® 500D fabric, which is abrasion-resistant and stiff enough to hold its shape even when the pouch is partially empty. The internal volume also allows improvised use as a utility pocket for ear protection, gloves or small accessories when moving to the firing line.
