Shelter Viper Tactical Basha — Coyote

The Viper Tactical Basha is a multi-purpose double PU-coated nylon tarp, fully waterproof, measuring 255 x 170 cm. It works as a standalone shelter, a sleeping bag over-cover, or an emergency carry sheet — one piece of kit that covers three distinct operational roles.

The double PU coating delivers waterproofing without stiffening the fabric, keeping the tarp pliable in cold conditions and easy to pack down quickly. The nylon construction is strong enough to hold tension when rigged between two fixed points, yet light enough not to add meaningful weight to a loaded pack.

The perimeter edge features 9 reinforced loops distributed around the entire surface, with brass eyelets at the corners and centre. This attachment layout allows different configurations — lean-to, angled cover, bivi wrap — without the fabric tearing under load. Brass eyelets resist oxidation better than galvanised steel, a relevant detail during prolonged exposure to damp conditions. Worth noting: a tarp with no integrated poles requires cordage and anchor points; the setup is flexible but depends on the terrain and available accessories.
