PYROSOFT Pyro-5G Airsoft Hand Grenade

The Pyro-5G is a pyrotechnic hand grenade for airsoft, speedsoft and paintball, shaped after the RGD-5. It works like a real grenade: hold the safety lever, pull the pin, throw — with a 4–5 second delay before activation. This mechanism is not cosmetic: it builds correct handling habits, including familiarity with the lever-pin-throw sequence and the risk of accidental activation once the pin is pulled.

The certified IP66 water resistance rating means the grenade holds up to heavy rain and brief submersion without losing functionality — useful in any field weather condition. The P1 (EN 16263-3) pyrotechnic class defines the limits of use and requires buyers to be at least 18 years old. Three fill variants cover different needs: the M version uses chalk or talc powder that simulates an explosion acoustically and visually; the G version uses peas and paraffin that physically strike anyone within the blast radius; the P version is a training grenade with inert metal powder, balanced for weight and acoustic response to military standards.

The central trade-off with this type of grenade is between realism and field practicality: the working lever and fixed delay make the throw tactically meaningful, but they demand constant attention — a grenade with the pin pulled cannot be made safe again. Use is permitted only in areas specifically designated for airsoft pyrotechnics and on fields that explicitly allow them. Protective eyewear and gloves are mandatory equipment.
