Wosport Universal Light Adapter Helmet Velcro Mount — Tan

The Wosport Universal Light Adapter is a nylon universal mount that attaches a tactical torch to the side of a helmet via a velcro base, with no drilling or permanent modifications required. The base measures 75 x 43 mm and weighs 37 g, making it compatible with most helmets that have a velcro or loop panel.

The adapter ships with two interchangeable interfaces, both rotating 360°: the first is a RIS rail compatible with torches such as the X300, X400 and TLR-1 that mount on a Picatinny rail; the second is a two-hole adapter for torches such as the SureFire M300C, M300V and their replicas. The beam angle is adjusted by loosening and tightening a single screw — no extra tools needed. This lets you angle the beam downward to avoid blinding a teammate alongside you, or toward the ground ahead, adapting to the situation without removing anything.

The trade-off to keep in mind is the one inherent to velcro as a retention system: attachment is silent and extremely fast to release, but in prolonged heat, humidity or fine dust the velcro can lose grip over time. Operators working in dusty environments should clean the panel periodically. For static use, training, or as a spare configuration on a second helmet, the system is practical and fully reliable.
