The single-piece silicone construction eliminates separate joints and seals: the body is inherently waterproof and handles moisture and rain without requiring any particular attention. The activation button is positioned at the centre of the front face — a design choice that allows you to activate it or change modes even while wearing tactical gloves, without adjusting your grip or looking down. Attachment is via a hook-and-loop panel on the back: the hold is solid on standard loop surfaces, but, like any hook-and-loop system, it does not offer the mechanical retention of a rigid clip — an important consideration in dense vegetation or close physical contact environments.
