Mid-layer Kryptek Arma Fleece 1/2 Zip Jacket — Kryptek Altitude

The Arma Fleece 1/2 Zip Jacket is a technical fleece mid-layer with a half-zip designed for those who spend long hours stationary at the shooting range, in a hide, or moving across demanding terrain. The 91% polyester, 9% merino wool composition combines the fast-drying properties of synthetic fabric with the moisture management that sets natural fibre apart, with SILVADUR™ antimicrobial treatment integrated into the fabric itself.

The anatomical athletic fit allows the jacket to be worn over a close-fitting base layer without the fabric bunching under a chest rig or plate carrier, while still not restricting the shoulders when raising a rifle. The high breathability is designed for mixed-effort situations: the body builds up heat during stationary pauses, then works hard with sudden changes of pace. In these transitions, a poorly breathable mid-layer quickly becomes damp and heavy; the Arma Fleece manages moisture vapour without needing to unzip at every change of effort – though it does not replace a waterproof membrane and is not built to resist sustained wind.

The half-height YKK® zip allows quick ventilation adjustment without removing the garment, and the high closed collar provides protection when the zip is fully fastened. The bicep pocket, made from breathable fabric, is sized for lightweight accessories – a compact torch, a game call – without creating bulk under the armpit when handling a firearm. The Kryptek Altitude camouflage pattern draws on the blue-grey palette developed for alpine and high-altitude environments.
