BLS Stainless UH BBs 0.40 g — Grey

BLS Stainless UH are 0.40 g airsoft BBs made from plastic with a metallic powder additive, available in bags of 2,500 BBs. Their diameter of 5.95 mm ± 0.01 mm makes them compatible with the vast majority of hop-up units on the market. They are aimed at players using high-powered airsoft guns or guns with a hop-up bucking tuned for heavier loads, where lighter BBs would lose trajectory and stability.

The 0.40 g weight strikes a balance between mass and muzzle velocity: it slows the BB down compared to mid-weight options, but increases resistance to crosswind and extends the stable portion of the flight path. This makes them a sound choice for open sites or long engagements, where gusts or turbulence can compromise accuracy. The trade-off is that airsoft guns with an untuned or low-quality hop-up may struggle to impart the correct backspin to a 0.40 g BB, reducing the benefit over lighter weights.

The metallic powder additive in the compound contributes to the density and uniformity of each BB, reducing mass variation between individual rounds.
