The BLS BIO Ultimate Heavy 0.43 g are biodegradable PLA polymer BBs for airsoft, designed for players using high-spring-tension replicas or HPA systems that require a heavy projectile to maintain stable trajectories at medium and long range. Each pack contains 2,300 BBs with a total weight of 1 kg and a diameter of 5.95 mm ± 0.01 mm.
The dimensional tolerance of ±0.01 mm is what separates a field BB from a competition-grade one: a consistent diameter feeds through the hop-up bucking evenly, reducing the backspin variations that shift the point of impact from shot to shot. With out-of-spec BBs, the same hop-up produces a different trajectory every time; with this level of consistency, your hop-up setting stays locked in throughout the session.
Biodegradable PLA is the right choice for sites that ban conventional ABS BBs, where unrecovered rounds remain in the environment. It is worth noting, however, that although PLA degrades faster than ABS, it requires adequate moisture and temperature conditions to do so effectively: on hard surfaces or in dry environments the process slows significantly. The 0.43 g weight reduces wind sensitivity compared to lighter BBs, but calls for a well-tuned hop-up and a replica with sufficient output to take advantage of the added mass. The pack features a resealable closure to keep unused BBs fresh between sessions.
