The Bennon Amigo O1 is a closed, O1-certified work sandal designed for those who spend long hours on their feet in hot or high-temperature environments: warehouse operatives, outdoor technicians, service personnel. The microfibre and softshell upper combines lightness with abrasion resistance without the weight of a traditional boot, while the open-heel construction delivers superior ventilation in conditions where boots or closed shoes become difficult to tolerate.

The DART outsole is made from EVA and rubber: the EVA layer absorbs fatigue from prolonged standing, while the rubber in the contact zone provides slip resistance class SRA — measured on ceramic flooring with an aqueous solution, the most common condition in industrial and commercial floors. The construction is completely metal-free and has antistatic properties, essential requirements in environments with security checks or electrostatic discharge risk.

The ABSORBA XTR insole works in synergy with the MESH inner lining: the former cushions impact at the heel and forefoot, the latter keeps the foot dry by dispersing heat. Compared to an open sandal, the Amigo O1 offers greater protective coverage over the forefoot; compared to a closed shoe, it sacrifices some thermal insulation at the heel, which remains exposed. It is a deliberate choice in favour of comfort in the heat — not a year-round piece of footwear.
