It installs in certain pistol grip housings or on the TD RIS panel, bringing torch control to an ergonomically natural position.

In operational or hunting contexts, every fraction of a second matters: activating a torch from a switch mounted directly on the body of the light forces you to shift your grip or move your thumb into an awkward position. A remote switch solves this compromise by relocating the activation point to where the hand already is, without any need to readjust the weapon.
