The Zephyr GTX Lo TF is a low-cut operational shoe from LOWA designed for those who work or operate outdoors in variable conditions: mixed suede and technical fabric upper, GORE-TEX membrane, and LOWA CROSS outsole on a lightweight, low-profile platform suited to both everyday tactical use and hunting on mixed terrain.
The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear lining handles waterproofing without sacrificing breathability in warm weather or during high-intensity activities: it keeps moisture out while allowing internally generated vapour to escape. The GTX Professional version available on certain configurations pushes wind and weather protection further, benefiting those operating in more demanding and variable conditions. One important point: this is a waterproof shoe, not a wading boot — water entering over the collar will defeat any membrane.
The LOWA CROSS outsole uses a self-cleaning rubber compound that maintains grip on mud and debris without packing material underfoot. The polyurethane midsole and the LOWA MONOWRAP® system — a three-dimensional frame wrapping the heel and sides of the foot — provide lateral support on uneven ground while preserving the flexibility characteristic of a low-cut shoe.
