The Winter Warden Shirt is a long-sleeve winter shirt designed for those who work or move outdoors in cold weather and need something warmer than a light softshell but less bulky than an insulated jacket. At 770 g with a 60 g/m² insulation fill, it sits precisely in that thermal window where a shell alone falls short and a full winter jacket is already too much.

The main fabric is a 180 g/m² knit composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane: the elastomeric content follows body movement without restricting the torso, while the polyester wicks moisture away quickly and does not hold sweat against the skin. The 100% polyester insulation retains its thermal properties even when slightly damp, unlike natural fibres. The reinforced shoulders resist abrasion and pack condensation — two factors that accelerate wear on any unreinforced outer fabric.

The press-stud closure is a deliberate trade-off: it opens and closes in a single motion, is more reliable than a zip in extreme cold and will not jam, but does not seal the collar as tightly as a high collar with an internal zip. Seven pockets — two internal ones large enough for gloves and a hat, two chest pockets, two hand-warmer pockets and one flat pocket for small items — provide organisation without adding noticeable bulk under an outer layer.
