The Greyman Tactical Shorts in DuraCanvas fabric are mid-thigh technical shorts designed for those who need tactical functionality in warm environments without sacrificing a low-profile, civilian silhouette. The 65% polyester, 33% cotton and 2% elastane blend at 230 g/m² balances canvas durability with enough stretch to handle wide ranges of motion, from a quick pace to exiting a vehicle.
With nine pockets distributed across the garment, the Greyman offer carrying capacity on par with full-length cargo trousers: two side pockets with reinforced edges and an internal compass pocket for small items, two thigh pockets and four rear pockets. The belt loops are sized for belts up to 50 mm wide, compatible with the most common tactical and duty belts on the market. The closure combines a YKK zip and velcro, with a partially elasticated waistband: the result is a secure fit even without a belt, useful when working in a light configuration.
The trade-off to keep in mind concerns the DuraCanvas fabric itself: the 230 g/m² weight and the cotton content deliver better structure and abrasion resistance than an ultralight nylon, but make the garment warmer and slower to dry than a pure synthetic. In dry, high-temperature conditions it is a solid choice; in high humidity or when frequent water immersion is involved, the cotton retains moisture for longer. Finished garment weight: 330 grams.
