The Competition Modular Belt Sleeve is the outer platform of the Helikon-Tex Competition Set system: a rigid, padded sleeve that fits over your primary shooting belt (up to 45 mm wide) and converts it into a full MOLLE modular system. It is designed for dynamic shooting and for anyone who wants to distribute pouches, holsters and accessories directly on the waist without wearing a dedicated tactical belt. Available in four sizes with an internal circumference ranging from 83.5 cm (S) to 106.5 cm (XL).
The outer surface is made of Cordura with laser cut MOLLE/PALS-compatible panels on the front and sides, separated by vertical slots that allow the underlying belt to pass through — enabling direct-attachment holsters or belt-detach pouches to be mounted without removing the sleeve. On the lower sides, two additional horizontal loops accept hip holsters or drop-leg panels: the geometry is built into the fabric itself and requires no adapters. Four low-profile paracord loops serve as anchor points for suspenders or vertical retention systems.
The interior is padded with EVA foam and lined with mesh fabric: this combination eliminates the discomfort caused by sharp pouch edges and maintains airflow during extended sessions. The core trade-off is worth considering: the sleeve adds structure and MOLLE surface to any belt up to 45 mm wide, but it does increase the overall circumference and total weight of the setup.
